Barceló Gran Añejo is an outstanding blend of rums, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, ranging in age up to 6 years. It is a rum full of depth with balanced nuances.

Tasting notes

Rich, golden-amber color. Aromas of malt chocolate, vanilla, caramelized walnuts, tobacco and delicate anise. A semi dry body with hints of mocha and whipped cream ending in a gradually fading taste of butternut and caramel. A flavorful, well balanced, exquisite rum.

Ingredients

1½ oz. Barceló Gran Añejo
½ oz. Orange Curacao
¼ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
2 Dashes of Bitters
2 oz. Ginger Beer

Instructions

1. Build Barceló Gran Añejo, orange curacao, lime juice and bitters in a highball glass.
2. Fill with ginger beer.
3. Garnish with a lime wheel and an orange slice.
